Overview
An overview of gift cards and credit notes can be found under Reports -> Debt.
| Code | Gift card code. This can be entered in the Gift card / Discount code field in the shopping cart. |
| Type | This shows whether it is a gift card (G) or a credit note (T). |
| Registered | When the gift card/credit note was registered. |
| Updated | When the gift card/credit note was last updated. |
| Expiration date | When the gift card/credit note expires. |
| Original value | The gift card/credit note's original value. |
| Remaining value | The gift card/credit note's remaining value. |
Filter Options
In the debt report, you have access to some filters. The filters can be used to find gift cards if you do not have the gift card code available. See which filters you have available:
| Original value | Filter for gift cards with a given original value. |
| Purchase date | Find gift cards that were sold in a specific period. |
| Remaining value | Find gift cards with a certain remaining value. |
| Expiration date | Find gift cards that have a specific expiration date. |
More Details
By clicking on the gift card code, you get an overview of the gift card/credit note's history. Here you can also choose to change the expiration date if a customer has contacted you and wants to use a gift card that has expired.
Adjust Value
This option allows you to adjust the value of a gift card downwards. This can be done, for example, if a customer has forgotten the gift card and a manual discount has been given at the checkout.
Extend Expiration Date
Click on "Change expiration date". Then select how long you want to extend the expiration date by (from today's date).
Activity
Here you get a history of what has been changed on the gift card.
