Filter orders by shipping method

This article explains how to filter orders by shipping method in the order overview. This makes it easier to find orders that should be shipped using a specific shipping method.

When is this useful?

Filtering by shipping method can be useful when you want to:

  • see all orders that will be shipped with the same carrier
  • find all orders with for example Pick up in store
  • process orders for one shipping method at a time
  • make picking and packing more efficient

Enable filtering by shipping methods

To filter orders by shipping methods, the feature must first be enabled in the order settings.

How to enable it:

  1. Go to Orders/Customers → Process orders in the control panel
  2. Click Settings (the gear icon in the top right corner)
  3. Find the setting Filtering by shipping methods in the order list
  4. Set the value to Yes
  5. Click Save

The feature is now activated.


How to filter by shipping method

  1. Go to Orders/Customers → Process orders in the control panel
  2. Click Filter in the top right corner of the order overview
  3. Find the field Shipping method
  4. Select one or more shipping methods
  5. Click Update

The order list will now display only orders using the selected shipping method.


Filter by multiple shipping methods

You can select multiple shipping methods at the same time.

Example:

  • Package to pickup point
  • Package delivered home

The order list will then show all orders using one of these shipping methods.


Combine the shipping filter with other filters

You can combine the shipping method filter with other filters for more precise searches.

Example:

  • Order status: Not processed
  • Shipping method: Package to pickup point

This allows you to quickly find all unprocessed orders for a specific shipping method.


Remove an active filter

When a filter is active, it will appear at the top of the order list.

You can remove the filter in two ways.

Method 1 – Remove the filter directly

  1. Find the filter displayed at the top of the order list
  2. Click the × next to the filter

The filter will be removed immediately and all orders will be shown again.

Method 2 – Reset the filter

  1. Click Filter
  2. Click Reset
  3. Click Update

All active filters will be removed and the order list will be shown without filtering.


Important to know

  • The filter only affects how the order list is displayed
  • Filtering does not change the orders themselves
  • You can remove the filter at any time
