Product Bundles

This article shows how to create a product bundle, add products, and set the price for the bundle.

What is a product bundle?

A product bundle allows you to sell multiple products together - as one package/bundle for one fixed price.

How to create a product bundle

  1. Go to Products → Products
  2. Click the dropdown menu on + PRODUCT and select + PRODUCT BUNDLE
  3. Enter name for the product bundle
  4. Add:
    • product description
    • images for the bundle
  5. Click Create product

Add products to the bundle

  1. Click Edit on the product bundle
  2. Click on Create / Save group, if you don't see this button → Click New product group
  3. Select the category the desired product belongs to
  4. Then select the desired product in the dropdown menu
  5. Click Add product
  6. Select number of products
  7. Press Create / Save group
  8. Repeat steps 3-7 to add more products to the bundle
  9. Click Save groups
  10. And then Save changes

Grouping

By creating product groups in a product bundle, you can let the customer assemble their own bundle from multiple groups/categories. For example, you can create a Ski Package consisting of the groups Ski, Bindings and Helmet where the customer chooses one option from each group.

Set price for the product bundle

Enter desired price for the entire bundle:

  1. You can choose between giving % discount on the entire package, or entering Package total price
  2. Save changes

Important to know

  • Package products can contain products with different VAT
  • The package product inherits the VAT rules from the products included in the package
  • One package product can therefore have multiple VAT classes simultaneously

Example:

  • Protein powder: 15% VAT
  • Water bottle: 25% VAT

Limitations

  • Package products can not be combined with the Campaign Center
  • This is because package products already function as a separate campaign with a fixed price

What do I do if this doesn't solve the need? If you want to give a discount on individual products instead of fixed packages, use the Campaign Center
