Variant Templates

How to create a variant template

1. Open a product and go to the Variants tab
2. Select the desired variants for the product
3. Click Save to Variant Templates
4. Give the template a name
5. Click Save to confirm

The selected variants are saved as a template and can be used on other products.

How to use a variant template

1. Open the product you want to add variants to
2. Go to the Variants tab
3. Select the desired variant template from the dropdown
4. Click Apply

All variants in the template are automatically added to the product.

How to delete a variant template

1. Open a product and go to the Variants tab
2. Select the template you want to delete from the dropdown
3. Click Delete

The template is deleted immediately.

How to update a variant template

1. Open a product and go to the Variants tab
2. Select the template you want to update, or add new variants manually
3. Make the desired changes
4. Click Save
5. Select the template you want to update in the window that appears
6. Click Save to confirm

The existing values in the template are overwritten with the new ones.

Good to know

• Changes to a template do not affect products that have already had the template applied. The template is only used at the time of assignment.
• You can create as many templates as you need — for example one for clothing, one for shoes and one for accessories.
