Showing Margin in Order Processing

This article explains how to activate and use the margin display feature in order processing, allowing you to see profit margins on orders and individual products.

Activating the Setting

To enable the margin display:

1. Log in to your Acendy control panel.
2. Go to Orders/Customers > Manage Orders.
3. In the header, click the settings icon (gear icon).
4. In the settings window, find "Show profit margin".
5. Set this to "Yes" and save the change.
6. Ensure that "Show product lines/manufacturer" is activated.
7. Reload the page for the changes to take effect.

Display of Margin and Profit

After activation, each order in the order overview will show the margin on the entire order (behind the customer name) and behind each product.

Inside the order, the margin will be displayed on each product, along with an overview showing total purchase price, margin, and profit.

Margin and profit are calculated based on purchase price and sales price (excluding VAT). To ensure correct display, it is important that all products/variants have a purchase price registered.

Purchase Price on Product Lines

Along with the margin display, the purchase price is also displayed on each product line, so you can easily see deviance in prices.
