Optimising banners on America template

To optimize the banner display of the A1 banner field in the America template so that your online store is faster, you can change the following settings in the template.

Banner A1 speed optimization

Under Design Settings > Banner Images > Banner A1 Speed Optimization, you will find functionality to optimize the banners in the banner A1 position. There are three options for banner A1.

Option 1

Option 1 is to add a banner as usual under banner A1. You then enter your image banner with text and press save.

Option 2

Option 2 is located under Design Settings > Banner Images > Banner A1 Speed Optimization. Option 2 involves uploading an image here. This image should be without text.

Once this is done, select Optimized slider under the "Widget for mobile optimization" option.

In the next step, you add text to the image itself. You add a header, subheader and text to the banner.

You can also:

• Choose the size and color of these elements
• Add a button with a link on the banner
• Choose the text on the button and what it should link to

Option 3

Option 3 can be found under Design Settings > Banner Images > Banner A1 Speed Optimization. This provides the fastest loading time. By selecting optimized text slider, you do not need to upload any banner image. You only select the background for the banner and text.
