Stock Status and Stock Rules

This article explains how to manage stock rules in your Acendy online store, including options for deactivating out-of-stock products and allowing overselling.

General Stock Status Settings

You can adjust the stock status settings under Configuration > General > Stock Status:

Pre-Order Options on Products

If you want customers to have the option to pre-order out-of-stock products, you can change this setting on the product page itself.

Advanced Stock Management App

To determine which stock status is displayed on products, set up specific stock text when products are out of stock, or decide whether products should be deactivated, the "Advanced Stock Management" app can help you maintain a smooth flow of products and stock levels.

In Stock Notification

If you want customers to be able to leave their email address on out-of-stock products and receive a notification when the products are back in stock, the "In Stock Notification" app is recommended.
