How to Apply for an Acendy Datakasse Agreement

Here are some tips to ensure your application to our partner, Adyen, goes as smoothly as possible.

Image Criteria

For the acquirer to process the application, they need to confirm that the person applying for the acquirer agreement is the owner of the company. Part of the process involves verifying identity and providing company information. Therefore, it is crucial that the uploaded images are easy for the processor to read.

Images must be in color.
Images cannot contain any glare that makes it difficult to read the information.

This photo is quickly approved because it is in color, and the information is easy to read.

This photo will not be approved because there is glare over OSLO, and the image is black and white.

Can You Verify Identity in Other Ways?

It is also possible to upload a picture of a driver's license, in which case pictures of both sides must be submitted. The rules regarding color images and glare also apply when using a driver's license.

Note: Processing time will be 2-3 days longer when using a driver's license.

Bank Statement

A bank statement must contain the following information:

Time and date (no older than 6 months)
Name of the company and address
IBAN
SWIFT

Important info about IBAN

It is important to enter the IBAN with NO and not N0(zero). If zero is entered instead of O, it will require manual processing to change this, which may result in 2-3 days of additional processing time.

Important Information About the First Payment

Since the main focus for us and the acquirer is to get the agreement up and running as quickly as possible, it may take up to 3 weeks before you receive the first payment from the acquirer Adyen. This is because setting up the connected account number takes a little longer than the other processes.

The reason why setting up the account number takes a little longer is that Adyen has very strict procedures to confirm that the account number belongs to the correct company. This is necessary so that they can ensure that the money is paid out to you and not someone else by mistake.
