Product Box Designer: Block — Tag
Block — Tag
A tag is a single label that floats freely on top of the card. Unlike ribbons, which are anchored to a corner, you place the tag with its own coordinates and can rotate it. It is suitable for a single clear eye-catcher — a campaign label, a 'New' stamp, or a discount marker.
A tag is an overlay block and belongs in a Tags Overlay-section. See [How to combine blocks and sections].
What the block does
The block displays one label that you fully control. You choose what it should say — custom text, a new product badge, or discount percentage — and place it exactly where you want on the card, with optional rotation and transparency.

How to use it
- Use the tag for a single eye-catcher per card. If you want to show multiple labels simultaneously (discount, new, customer club), [Block — Ribbon] is designed for that.
- Place the tag using Position X and Y in percent. 0/0 is the upper left corner, 100/100 is the lower right. Adjust until it sits where you want it on the image.
- A small rotation (for example −15°) gives a sticker-like feel that draws attention to a campaign.
- Select tag type Discount % for the label to automatically show the discount percentage on products on offer, or Custom text when you want to write something yourself.
Tips
- The tag types New product and Discount % are populated from the product data, just like the corresponding ribbons. The difference is that the tag gives you free placement and rotation.
- Keep the transparency at 1 for a solid label. A lower value lets the image shine through — good for a subtle watermark, less suitable for a sales message that needs to be read.
