Overview / Log

The overview provides a view of active and past jobs. You can find the dashboard in the sidebar menu on the left.

Active Jobs

If there are any active jobs in the store, they will appear at the top of the "Overview" page.

Since multiple jobs (actions) can be started one after another, they may be queued.

If the store has jobs in the queue, it will be displayed in the overview:

Log

Further down the page, you can see the log of all jobs performed through the "Bulk editor" tool.

The overview shows the following information:

  • Date and time of job
  • Type of job (action)
  • Number of products (total, changed, and failed)
  • Responsible (who started the job)
  • See log

Extended Log

The extended log allows you to see more information on each job that has been run. When a job (action) is completed, in addition to seeing the status in the overview, you can click on an extended log to see which products and fields have been changed.

Log Description

The extended log consists of four sections: Top, status, product list and bottom.

Top

At the top of the log, you can see which action was performed. In the example below, we can see that the purchase price has been adjusted via the "Adjust purchase price" action.

Status line

The status section is divided into 3-4 columns depending on the status.

  • Status
Here you will first find the status of the entire job. This has either a green indicator with the text "Completed without errors" or a red indicator and the text "Completed with errors".
  • Total
Total number of products that were selected when the job was started.
  • Changed
The number of products that were changed. With "Completed without errors", total and changed must be equal.
  • Failed
This column is only displayed in case of errors and indicates how many products failed.

Product List

The list shows all products that are included in the job that was run with the following columns:

  • Open product
The first column has a button to open the product in the control panel.
  • Product
    The product's name.
  • Model
    The product's article number.
  • Before
The value in the field that was changed before the job was started. In the example above where the purchase price was changed, the before column will show the purchase price before the job and the after column will show the purchase price after the job.
  • After
The value that is set on the product after the job was run.
  • Error message
If a product has failed, this column will give an error message/explanation of what went wrong.
