Send Shopping Cart via SMS

This article explains how to enable and use the "Send shopping cart via SMS" feature in Acendy, allowing customers to complete their orders through a link sent to their phone.

Introduction

With this feature, you can allow customers to complete their order in the online store. The order will not be a regular online store order and will not be part of the daily settlement in the cash register.

Get Started

To activate Send shopping cart via SMS, go to the control panel to Configuration > General > POS and find the setting at the bottom of the page. You can also search it up via Configuration > General > Search.

Once the setting is activated, you can restart the data cash app (swipe out, open the app). You will now have a new payment button for Send shopping cart via SMS under More options.

Using Send Shopping Cart via SMS

  1. Place desired products in the shopping cart.
  2. Press more options via the payment buttons.
  3. Press send shopping cart via SMS.
  4. A modal opens and the customer's mobile number is entered.
  5. Press send SMS.
  6. The customer receives a link to the checkout in the online store with the products added.
  7. The customer can now complete the order in the online store with the desired payment method.

Note!

There is no support for sending discounted shopping carts via SMS. If a discount is to be given, a discount code must be created for the customer. The customer can then use the discount code when completing the purchase in the online store.
