Printing Price Labels (EAN Codes)

Enable Barcodes (EAN)

You must first enable the barcode feature in the control panel.

Go to:
Extensions → Your extensions → Barcodes (EAN)

Before you start

Before you can print price labels, your products must have an EAN code registered.

How to check this

1. Go to Products → Products
2. Open the product
3. Verify that the EAN field is filled in

Required equipment

To print price labels you need:

• A label printer
• A barcode scanner (recommended for daily use)

Recommended printer: Dymo LabelWriter 550 Turbo

Printer setup

The setup process varies slightly between Mac and Windows.

Mac

Download and install the driver

1. Connect the printer to your Mac
2. Download the printer driver
3. Follow the installation guide

Print from the control panel

1. Open a product with a registered barcode
2. Click More options → Print EAN
3. Select the label content and number of labels

Print settings

When printing:

• Select Print using system dialog
• Paper size: 11354 Multi-Purpose (57 × 32 mm)
• Use landscape orientation

Windows

Download and install the driver

1. Connect the printer to your PC
2. Download the driver from the DYMO website
3. Install the driver

Print from the control panel

1. Open a product with a registered barcode
2. Click More options → Print EAN
3. Select the label content and number of labels

Print settings

When printing:

• Printer: DYMO LabelWriter
• Paper size: 11354 Multi-Purpose
• Set Scale to 90%
• Use landscape orientation

How to print EAN labels

1. Go to Products → Products
2. Open a product with a registered EAN code
3. Click More options → Print EAN
4. Select:
5. • what should appear on the label
   • the number of labels
5. Choose landscape orientation
6. Click Print

Then select Print using system dialog.

Print multiple labels at once

• If you want to print many labels at the same time, you can use the Print Center.
  Go to Tools → EAN Print Center
• We recommend using the format:
• • Standard price label landscape (Format: 11354)
• This provides the best print quality and ensures the barcode can be scanned correctly.

Important to know

• Products must have an EAN code to print labels
• We recommend Dymo LabelWriter 550 Turbo
• Use landscape label format for best scanning quality
• Portrait format may cause barcode scanning issues

What if this does not solve the problem?

• Verify that the product has an EAN code
• Check that the correct printer is selected
• Confirm the paper size (11354)
• Test printing again
