Printing Price Labels (EAN Codes)

This article guides you through the process of printing price labels (EAN codes) via the control panel in Acendy.

Important Information

Below is the important information to know before you start printing price labels from the control panel.

Do the Products Have EAN Codes?

Before you can print price labels, all products must have an EAN code on the product page. You can check this by opening a product and seeing if there is information in this field.

Do You Have the Equipment in Place?

To print price labels from the control panel, you need some equipment and an extension in the control panel. The extension is free, but the equipment costs a bit.

The Barcodes Extension

This is activated directly in the control panel by navigating to Apps > Settings. Then activate Barcodes (EAN).

Label Printer and Barcode Reader

These are used to print the labels and scan the labels in the POS system. A barcode reader is also very useful for other daily operations in the control panel.
