Installation and setup
To ensure a smooth and professional shopping experience in your online store, it's important to have the correct shipping setup. This guide walks you through how to install and configure shipping options in Acendy – step by step.
1. Setup of Shipping
To view and manage all the settings for your shipping methods, go to Configuration > Shipping methods in your control panel.
If you only have one shipping option installed in your store, you will go straight to the settings for the shipping option you have installed:
If you have multiple shipping options installed in your store, you will come to an overview of the various shipping options you have installed:
Delivery option
After a shipping method is added, you must configure your delivery options. Here you will be able to go into each individual shipping option and enter various settings such as Title, Description, VAT, Sequence, Zone, Weight, Shipping price, Free shipping over a certain amount, etc.
This is done by clicking on the pencil on the various shipping options. Here you will also be able to choose whether the shipping option should be visible to business customers or private customers, and it is also here that you uninstall shipping options.
Once the settings here are set up, click "Save changes":
Global settings
In Global settings, you will also be able to set up Fixed price shipping and Free shipping. It is important to note that if you have specifications for this per shipping option on "Delivery option", these will try to override each other, and there may be issues. So if you want to have the same price (Fixed shipping) on all your shipping options, it can be set up here. The same with Free shipping.
Shipping calculation
In the "Shipping calculation" tab, you can easily find out which shipping option is cheapest for you to send a specific order with, by entering the postcode the package is to be sent to, order price and weight (grams).
The shipping calculation calculates the shipping from the sender address you have entered via Configuration > General > Sending/Packing, and only calculates the price for the shipping options you have installed.
2. Add more shipping options
To add more shipping options, you can click on "+ Add shipping".
You will then get a window with available shipping options. Here you can choose to use the search field to search for specific shipping options, you can use the drop-down menu to choose to only see available shipping options from the desired supplier, or you can scroll down the list.
Click "Add" on the shipping options you want to offer your customers. This will not install the shipping options, but only tick the selected shipping option. You can tick as many shipping options as you want to install, and then when the desired shipping options are marked, you can click "Install":

3. How to delete shipping options?
- Click on the pencil on the shipping option you want to delete:

Can i set up free shipping?
Yes, here you can either set up free shipping in Delivery Options or in Global Settings. It is important that you do not add it in both places, but choose one of them.

To add more shipping options, click on '+ Add Shipping', select the desired options and click on 'Install'.
Is it possible to delete shipping options?
Yes, you can delete shipping options by clicking on the pencil next to the option and then pressing 'Uninstall'.
How do i change the order of the shipping methods?
If you want to adjust which shipping method is displayed at the top of the checkout, you can change the sorting order as follows:
- Go to Configuration > Shipping Methods in the control panel.
- Click on the pencil to edit the desired shipping method.
Find the Sorting/Order field and enter a number.
- Lower numbers = shown higher up in the checkout.
- Higher numbers = shown further down.
