This article explains the Collection Pick List feature and how it can help you streamline your order fulfillment process.
What is Collection Pick List?
If you often have multiple orders containing the same products, using the Collection Pick List can significantly improve your efficiency.
The Collection Pick List allows you to print a summary for selected orders, showing which products and the quantity of each product you need to pick to pack and ship those orders.
Using Collection Pick List
Printing a Collection Pick List
Step 1: Go to Orders/Customers > Orders.
Step 2: Select all the orders you want to pick.
Step 3: Choose Print Menu > Collection Pick List.
Step 4: Choose which columns you want to display on the Collection Pick List:
- Show EAN - Displays the EAN (European Article Number) of the product.
- Sum of quantity in the first column - The first column will show the total quantity of each product to be picked.
- Show quantity per order for each product - Displays the quantity of each product per order.
- Show running number - Displays a running number on the pick list.
Step 5: Generate a PDF for printing.
Picking from a Collection Pick List
In this example, we have three customers who have placed the following three orders in the online store:
- Customer 1
- 2 pcs Product 1
- 1 pc Product 3
- Customer 2
- 3 pcs Product 2
- 2 pcs Product 4
- Customer 3
- 1 pc Product 3
The following information explains the columns in the example pick list:
- Qty. - Shows the number of products to be picked.
- Qty. / - Shows the number of products per order.
- LN - Shows the running number/which box the product should be placed in.
- Line 1: Quantity 2 of Product 1 - Has running number 2 - Place in box 2
- Line 2: Quantity 3 of Product 2 - Has running number 3 - Place in box 3
- Line 3: Quantity 2 of Product 3 - Has running numbers 2 and 1 - Place 1 pc in box 2, 1 pc in box 1
- Line 4: Quantity 2 of Product 4 - Has running number 3 - Place in box 3
One box will then represent one fully picked order ready to be shipped.
- (Order) - Which order number the product belongs to.
- Products - Which product to pick.
- Article - Article number of the product.
- Warehouse location - Where the product is located in the warehouse.
- EAN - EAN of the product.
