Send and Accept Quotes
Send and Accept Quotes
This article explains how to send offers to customers and the different actions available for managing offers in Acendy.
Send quote
When the offer is ready, it can be sent to the end customer.
This is done by clicking on "Send offer" in the upper right corner. If this button is disabled, a help text will appear when you hover the mouse over it. This help text will inform you of what is missing to be able to send the offer.
When you press "Sent quote", a new window opens and here you will be able to see who the offer is sent to (including copy to) and message to customer.
Message to customer can be edited if desired.
Then click "Send" and a PDF will be generated and sent to the customer. Confirmation will be displayed when the offer is sent.
Accept offer without sending it
For various reasons, it may be unnecessary for some to send the offer as a PDF to the end customer.
Then you can choose to accept the offer directly. Then the offer will be accepted and transferred to the order without an email being sent to the end customer.
This choice can be found in the "Actions" menu.
Options for sent offer
Accept offer
If the customer accepts the offer, click on "Accept offer" and an order will be created containing the products and prices from the offer.
After the order has been created, you will get a banner on the offer with a link to open the order. You will also get it as an event on the "History" tab.
An offer that has been accepted and transferred can not be edited again, then you have to edit the order that was created as a result of the accepted offer.
