Upgraded cart page on America

The America template is no longer being maintained and is not available for new stores. All new design is done using the design builder.

This article describes how to update the design and flow in America with "Cart Update 2021.2".

Settings and activation

You can find the settings under design settings > advanced settings > Cart Update 2021.2

Updated checkout flow - This is the general setting for changes in the checkout flow. It changes the UX/UI on the /cart page and activates a pop-up after a product has been added to the shopping cart.
Comment and discount code - Choose whether you want to show the discount code and comment field on the cart page, or if you want to hide both or some of them.
Show stock text - Shows stock text on the product on the cart page if available.
Background color "You save" widget - Choose the background color of the button that appears when you have a product with a discount in the shopping cart.
Show/hide emoji - Show or hide emojis on the "You save" button.
Change text on the button to the checkout (on /cart page) - Changes the text on the button.
Show button to express checkout on /cart page - Show express checkout/business checkout.
Text on the button to express checkout on /cart page - Choose the text on the button that goes to express checkout/business checkout.
Turn off slide-in cart (shopping cart icon takes you directly to /cart) - When this setting is activated, the "Slide in cart" is deactivated when you click on the icon. When you click on the icon, you are sent to the /cart page directly. This is a setting that can be used if you want to move customers more quickly towards checkout.
