Content Builder: AI in the builder

AI in the content builder can design an entire page, modify a page you already have, design a single section, translate, and suggest SEO texts. Everything AI creates can be reviewed and modified before you save.

Turn on AI features

AI is off until you turn it on. Each administrator approves it themselves the first time, using the button Turn on AI features. If AI is turned off for the store, an administrator can turn it on under AI settings.

💡 What is sent to OpenAI
Your description, page title, keywords, and brand colors are sent to OpenAI. For translation, the text in the blocks is sent. No customer or order data is sent. For SEO, the page text, title, and keywords are sent.

Build or modify the entire page

1. Click AI at the top of the content builder. If the page is empty, Build page with AI is displayed instead.

2. Write what you want, between 5 and 2000 characters. An example: "A hero with a headline about free shipping, a short text and a button, and then three boxes with our benefits."

3. Select Modify page or Start over, and click Ask AI

It usually takes 10 to 30 seconds, and the page is locked while the AI is working. If the page is too large for the AI to modify at once, you will be notified.

Click Undo AI change if you do not like the result. This works until you save.

Design one section with the HTML / AI block

The HTML / AI block lets AI design one section, for example a benefits box or a promotional banner.

1. Add the block HTML / AI

2. Describe the section under Design with AI, and click Generate design. If a design already exists, the button is called Change the design

3. Turn on Use brand colors if the section should use the colors from the design builder.

You can also edit the HTML yourself. Only inline styles are kept. Scripts, style tags, and classes are removed when you save, so the result may look slightly different from what the AI showed. While the AI is working on one section, you can continue working on the rest of the page.

SEO suggestions

Under the SEO tab, Suggest with AI suggests a meta title, meta description, and keywords based on the text on the page. Write the page text first, and review the suggestions before saving.

Free usage and credits

Each month you have a number of free AI uses, depending on your plan. After that, you use credits.

The amount you have left is shown in the panel. You do not pay if the AI fails or takes too long. If everything is used up, you can buy more credits.
