General configuration

The Configuration page in the control panel allows you to manage the most important settings for your online store. Here you can adjust everything from basic store details to features such as product display, stock status, and customer settings.

Where can I find the configuration settings?

  • Go to Configuration → General

Here you will find an overview of all settings that control how your online store works.


What can you manage here?

General store settings

You can update basic information about your online store, for example:

  • Store name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Contact information

This information is used in emails, order communication, and the store’s contact details.

Product display

You can control how products are displayed in your online store.

Examples:

  • Number of products per page
  • Default product sorting
  • Display of product information

Stock status

You can decide how stock status is handled and shown to customers.

Examples:

  • Show stock status on the product page
  • Notifications for low stock levels
  • Rules for purchasing out-of-stock products

Customer settings

Here you can control how customer accounts work in your online store.

Examples:

  • Password strength requirements
  • Customer account registration
  • Storage of customer data

Additional features

You can enable or disable certain features in your online store, such as:

  • Bonus points
  • Customer club
  • Consent management

How to change a setting

  1. Go to Configuration → General
  2. Select the correct category in the menu
  3. Click the setting you want to change
  4. Choose the desired value or enter new information
  5. Click Save changes

The change will take effect immediately after saving.


Using the search function

If you are looking for a specific setting:

  1. Go to Configuration → General
  2. Use the search field at the top of the page
  3. Enter the name of the setting

This makes it easier to quickly find the correct setting.


Examples of common changes

Update store contact information

  1. Go to Configuration → General
  2. Update:
    • Store name
    • Address
    • Email address
  3. Click Save changes

Change the number of products displayed per page

  1. Go to Configuration → General → Product display
  2. Change the setting Number of products per page
  3. Click Save

Enable bonus points

  1. Go to Configuration → General → Bonus points
  2. Set the setting to Yes
  3. Click Save

What if this does not solve the problem?

  • Verify that you saved the changes
  • Refresh your browser and test again
  • Test in incognito mode
  • Contact Mystore support if the setting does not work as expected
