Adding Multiple Currencies

This article explains how to set up multiple currencies in your Acendy store, allowing you to cater to international customers.

Setup

Currencies are added via Configuration > Settings > Currency.

Example: Setting Up Swedish Currency

Enter the current exchange rate, and Swedish currency will be activated for Swedish customers. Note that currency values are not automatically updated in our system.

When entering the value, use the following format: 1.00000000 (eight decimals after the decimal point).

Ps! Exchange Rate Updates

Exchange rates are not updated automatically. You need to update them manually.

Values

  • Title: Swedish Kronor
  • Code: SEK
  • Symbol to the left: [empty]
  • Symbol to the right: ,-
  • Decimal separator: ,
  • Thousands separator: .
  • Decimals: 2
  • Value: Enter the exchange rate for the specific country relative to your store's default currency (usually NOK). Remember to use eight decimals after the decimal point!
  • Show 0 decimals in store: Choose this if you don't want to display decimals on prices in the online store.
  • Show decimals at checkout: Choose this if you want to display decimals at checkout.

Currency weaker than NOK: 1.10000000
Currency stronger than NOK (e.g., Euro): 0.10000000
