FAQ and Contact Page
With this feature, you can build banners on any page in the CMS and link them to content pages in the online store. You can also include contact information on the same page and set up a clear overview with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). The idea behind this page is that your customers can easily find answers to their questions and be easily guided further if they don't find an answer in the FAQ. See example here
Setup Guide
- First, we need a page to use for this. You can use an existing page or create a new page within the CMS. It's best to just create a new page. Once this is done, we can create an FAQ in the next step. This will then be displayed on this page. Design > Main Menu/Content > New Page
2. Enter the name of the page; we will use the page ID later as this needs to be entered in the design settings. To set up an FAQ, we also need to add a header for each section. A section can be, for example, returns, shipping, warranty, or anything else you think customers need help with or have questions about.
First, enter your first section and set it as heading 3; in this case, "Returns."
Once this is done, create a table. The table can have an unlimited number of rows but only two columns. The reason for this is that the first column should have the question and the second the answer.
Once you have added the table, enter the questions and answers. After entering the questions and answers, you can move on to the next section if you want more. In this case, I have added one for returns and one for shipping. You can add as many sections as you want and as many rows/questions per section as you need. If you want to remove or add a row, right-click on the table and select what you want to do.
Once you have done this, the FAQ section is ready.
3. In step three, we add links and banners. Go to "Design > Your Design > design settings > advanced settings > Customer Service page with FAQ."
The customer service icon will activate an icon with a link in the top line on desktop. Page ID, here you enter the ID of the page you created in the CMS. "Customer Service" in this example. You can also set a heading for the customer service page. This could be, for example, "Customer Service" or "What do you need help with?" or whatever suits you best.
Once this is done, you can add FAQ images; here, you can add banners that you can link to other pages. For example, if you have a separate page for returns, you can add a banner that can be linked to the returns page. We have created support for six banners with links.
The width of the images will always be 555px (PC/Mac), so it is recommended to have an oblong format for the images (horizontal). The images on our test page are 555 x 333px

4. After the FAQ banners, there is a section for contact information; here, you can set a heading for this section, e.g., contact us. This section has three columns; the first column can be used for the phone number. The second is optional, e.g., chat. The third is set up for email; here, you can link to the page with the email form. In most cases, this is storename.no/contact_us. Then enter contact_us
5. Set the heading for the FAQ section in the last field above; this will be displayed before the FAQ section and the questions you entered in step 1. Once this is done, the template is ready!:)
