Link a shipping method to shipping options in Logistra

This article explains how to link your Acendy shipping modules to your preferred shipping modules in Logistra, saving time by automatically selecting the correct Logistra shipping method when printing labels.

Setup

You can link your desired shipping module in Acendy to your desired shipping module in Logistra.

Via advanced settings in the shipping modules, you can choose which shipping method in the Logistra selection should be used automatically when printing labels.

This will save you a lot of time if, for example, you want to use a manual shipping method for Postnord Groupage, or for another shipping method that does not exist in Acendy (as a module), but you have via Logistra.

Note: each Logistra module can only be linked to one shipping method in Acendy. If you select the same Logistra module in several shipping methods, the last one will be used for automatic selection.

Under Configuration > Shipping methods you will find the list of active shipping methods in the store. If you click on Advanced options, you will get two drop-down menus that allow you to determine which Logistra module should be connected to the shipping method.

Functionality

What happens when i have connected Logistra modules to all my shipping methods?

When you set an order to "Sent / Completed", you will normally see the dialog that lets you choose the shipping method you want to print a label for.

This drop-down menu will now automatically select the Logistra module based on the order's shipping method. The same applies to printers, if you have multiple printers and have connected the shipping method to a printer.

Bulk processing of orders

I use bulk processing, will this also work there?

In bulk processing of orders, you can choose what you want to do for the selection you have made.

Use autoselect

If you select this setting, bulk processing will use the Logistra module that is connected to the shipping method for each individual order.

Use the shipping method selected below

If you select this setting, bulk processing will use the selected shipping method on the entire order selection, regardless of shipping method connections.

This will be useful if you are going to send all the orders in the selection with one specific shipping method, even if the orders in the selection have different shipping methods registered.
