Block: Integration
Add 3rd party scripts using the integration block.
Use of scripts is at your own risk. Acendy is not responsible for scripts added by the customer.
The integration block is made for adding 3rd party scripts to your store, like for instance the Elfsight script for Instagram feed.
Adding the block
The integration block is available to add in the column section:
- Add, or find existing, column block
- Click the + button to add new block
- Select "Integration"
- Once added click the pencil button on the block to edit it.
- Paste your script/snippet inn the text field. Paste the script in the regular text field, not in the source.
Adding scripts
When adding scripts/snippets paste the code in the regular text field, not in the source field.
Where to use the block
Placing the block depends on when/where you want the script to trigger.
If you want the script to trigger on every page in the store it should be added to the footer since the footer is available on all pages.
If you want the script to only trigger on product pages the integration block has to be added on the product page itself, not in a global template like header or footer.
