Energy Labeling
This article explains the energy labeling regulation for products, its purpose, and how to activate and add energy labels in Acendy.
About Energy Labeling
The energy labeling regulation for products requires manufacturers and retailers to provide information about the energy consumption of products that use energy. This is done using an energy label, which shows the product's energy class, ranging from A (most energy-efficient) to G (least energy-efficient).
The purpose of the energy labeling regulation is to make it easier for consumers to choose energy-efficient products, which helps reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
The energy labeling regulation applies to various products, including:
- Household appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, etc.)
- Light bulbs
- Electronics (TVs, computers, etc.)
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps
