How to Activate Vipps Login

This article explains how to activate Vipps Login, a service that allows customers to log in to your Acendy store using their Vipps account.

What is Vipps Login?

Vipps Login is a service that allows users to log in to various websites and apps using their Vipps account. It eliminates the need to remember separate usernames and passwords for each platform.

All you need to offer Vipps Login to your customers is a business agreement with Vipps via Acendy. Activation is simple and done in two steps. Learn how.

Activate Vipps Login in the Vipps Portal

Before you can use Vipps Login, it must be activated on your agreement. Follow the steps below to get started.

Log in to the Vipps portal

Inside the Vipps portal, open the menu "For developers". Here, click on "Configure login" on the agreement used in your control panel.

Click the "Activate Vipps Login" button.

On the next page, you need to enter a URI. To make it simple, we have created a standard URI for everyone using Vipps via Acendy. See picture below.

How to Activate in Your Acendy Control Panel

Once the steps above are completed, you are ready to activate Vipps Login in your online store.

Navigate to Configuration > Payment methods and select "Pay with Vipps".

Activate "Vipps login" on the payment method.

Once Vipps Login is activated, customers will have the option to log in with Vipps in the online store.
