Overview, search and filtering

The first thing you see when you open the bulk editor is the overview of products. This article describes the product overview in Acendy.

Product overview

As a default, this overview will show all products you have in your control panel but some predefined columns. Both product selection and columns can be customized using the following tools:

  • Column selector
  • Filter
  • Search

Search and filter

Search and filter allows you to quickly, easily, and smoothly find exactly the products you are looking for.

Search

The search field allows you to search for specific products. This can be combined with filters to make the selection even better.

The search field supports searching on the following criteria:

  • Product name
  • EAN (barcode)
  • Article number (main product)
  • EAN (barcode) on variant
  • Article number on variant

You can also specify to search only within name, article number, or barcode by first typing "MODEL:" followed by article number, "NAME:" followed by product name, or "EAN:" followed by the barcode.

For example, "NAME: Samsung Galaxy" will only search in the name field and give results on the products that match.

Filter - overview and description

What is a filter?

Bulk editor uses a service in Acendy called "FilterBar". This is a row at the top of the page that contains options for filtering, searching, and views.

Which filters you see in your store may vary depending on which services you use. We are constantly expanding with new filters to make the working day even easier for our customers.

Below is a complete overview of all filters, what they do, and how they are used.
