How to Set up Stock Alerts via Email
- Install and activate stock alerts via email in your online store.
- When you update the stock status for products that were previously sold out, the system will automatically send out email notifications to visitors who have signed up for stock alerts for these products. This is done by simply updating the stock status as before.
- Visitors who have shown interest in the product will receive an email notifying them that the product is available for purchase again.
- The email contains a direct link to the product, so the customer can add it to their shopping cart and complete the purchase.
How to Customize the Text for Outgoing Emails
- Log in to the administration panel for your online store.
- Go to "Configuration" and then "Text on pages".
- Find the option for "Outgoing emails" and click on it.
- In this section, you can customize the text that is sent out in the emails that notify customers that the products are back in stock.
How to Get an Overview of Products and Customers Who Have Signed up for Stock Alerts
- Navigate to "Product catalog > Stock alerts" in your control panel.
- Here you will find an overview of the products that have stock alerts activated, along with information about which customers have signed up for notification.
