Where can I find shipping methods?

1. Go to Configuration → Shipping methods in the control panel

Here you can:

• add new shipping methods
• activate or deactivate shipping methods
• configure prices and shipping rules

Types of shipping methods

There are two main types of shipping methods in the online store:

• Manual shipping methods
• Automatic shipping calculation

Manual shipping methods

Manual shipping methods use prices that you define yourself in the control panel.

Common examples include:

• Flat rate shipping

A fixed shipping price regardless of weight or destination.

This is suitable for stores where:

• Shipping price based on postal code and weight

Allows you to define shipping zones based on:

This is often used for:

You can also restrict this method to specific postal codes.

Automatic shipping calculation

Automatic shipping calculation uses the carrier’s own pricing tables.

This gives the customer a more accurate shipping price in checkout.

For shipping methods to work correctly:

• the shipping method must be installed
• the shipping method must be active
• the products must have a registered weight
