We offer migration services for our new customers. This involves extracting as much information as possible from an old online store and transferring it to your new Acendy store. For established online stores, this service makes the transition easy and smooth, eliminating potentially large amounts of manual work.

- Manufacturers/Brands.
- Customers.
- Orders.
- Tax classes/VAT rates.
You decide whether to transfer everything or just parts. Sometimes, it may be advantageous to only transfer the products. It is not possible to transfer orders without transferring customers and products, as the orders depend on these.
How the Process Works
1. Access
Before we can start a migration, we need the necessary access. The most common is administrator access or FTP access. This varies between different platforms. If this is not possible, we can work around it with a database dump. This is one or more files containing all the data in your online store.
2. Demo Migration
The next step is to perform a demo migration. This involves transferring 10 products, 10 customers, and 10 orders. In addition, categories and manufacturers associated with the products are also transferred. The items transferred are chosen randomly. Such a transfer tells us what the finished result will look like and allows us to take preventive steps if something does not quite match. It is important that we review the result thoroughly with you so that we do not miss anything.
3. Full Migration
When we are both ready, we start a full migration. This is a process that runs in the background until it is finished. Depending on the size of your store, this can take a while, in some cases up to 3 days.
4. Checking and Fine-Tuning
Now, most of the work shifts to you. The store should be ready to go live! No online store platforms are the same, so products, categories, and manufacturers will be different after the migration than they were in your old online store. In some cases, it requires some work here to get the structure as you want it.
5. Post-Migration
When you are satisfied with the store, we do a post-migration. Then, data that has appeared in your old store will be transferred, so that the new one is completely up to date. If the migration was done with a database dump instead of a direct connection, it will not be possible to do a post-migration.
