Activating and deactivating products

Difference between active, disabled, and hidden

• Active:
  The product is visible and can be purchased in the online store.
• Disabled:
  The product is not visible and cannot be purchased, but all history is retained.
• Hidden:
  The product is hidden from customers, but can still be accessed via a direct link.

If you are unsure, disabled is recommended over deletion.

Change visibility directly in the product catalog

1. Go to Products → Products
2. Find the category the product is in
3. Toggle visibility button on or off directly in the list

This is the fastest way to activate or deactivate individual products.

Change visibility directly on the product

1. Go to Products → Products
2. Open the desired product
3. Click Edit
4. Change:
5. • Visibility: Active / Disabled / Hidden
   • Visible in POS: Yes / No
5. Click Save changes

Change visibility via bulk editor

1. Go to Products → Bulk editor
2. Check the products you want to change
3. Click Bulk editor
4. Select Change visibility
5. Select new status:
6. • Active
   • Inactive
   • Hidden
6. Confirm action
7. Click Start

Important to know

• Visibility changes can always be reversed
• Deactivation preserves product data, history, and reports
• Visibility in the online store and POS system is managed separately
