Product details in category view
This article explains how to use product details in the category view and which actions you can perform directly on products from the category list.
What is Product details in category view?
When you open a category that contains one or more products, the product details are displayed in the panel on the right.
This view gives you quick access to product management without having to open the product page itself.
Actions available for a product
From the product details, you can perform the following actions:
- Edit – Change product information such as price, stock quantity, and product images
- Move – Move the product to another category
- Duplicate – Create a new product based on the selected product
- Stock – View and adjust inventory levels
- Delete – Permanently remove the product
Views and reports
You also have access to the following views:
- View product in store – Shows how the product appears to customers in the online store
- View customers who purchased the product – Displays a report of customers who have purchased the selected product
Uncategorized products
If you have products that are not assigned to a category, or if you have imported products without a category, you can enable the Uncategorized products view.
How to display uncategorized products
- Click the gear icon to the left of the search field
- Set Show uncategorized products to Yes
- Click Save
- Reload the page
Products without a category will then be collected in a separate folder, making them easy to find and organize.
