Countdown to free shipping

The America template is no longer being maintained and is not available for new stores. All new design is done using the design builder.

Do you want to highlight favorable shipping conditions? Then the countdown to free shipping is a great feature to show customers how close they are to free shipping when they shop in the online store.

General settings

You can find the settings via:
Design settings > Advanced settings > General settings

Countdown shipping in header

Turns on display of countdown in the header for desktop.

Countdown shipping in shopping cart

Turns on countdown in slide-in cart for both desktop and mobile.

Countdown shipping on mobile

Here you can choose to turn off the display of countdown on mobile if desired.

Narrower countdown bar for mobile header

Do you want the countdown bar/link narrower on mobile, more like the desktop version? Then you can activate it here.

Change text for countdown shipping

If the set amount for free shipping is 500kr, the default text will be "500,- KR IGJEN TIL FRI FRAKT". You can enter a different text if desired. The text will then be "500,- [custom text]".

Change text for achieved free shipping

The default text for achieved free shipping is "Congratulations, you have received free shipping!"

Text size countdown shipping in shopping cart

This only applies to the text in the slide-in cart (shopping cart). The default size is 12.

Change amount for free shipping

Here you must enter the amount that will generate free shipping, so that the countdown is correct. It is not automatically retrieved from the shipping settings.

Colors

The color of the countdown bar, font and background can be adjusted. It is divided into header, shopping cart and mobile header. You can find the settings via Design settings > Colors > Countdown free shipping

Here, the start color for simple or gradual color is not in use. End color on countdown bar then determines the color for the countdown bar. This combination gives the following appearance:

If you want a gradient color on the countdown bar, you can enter start color for simple or gradual color.

Example:

Colored background on header (mobile)

If your online store has a colored background on the header, it is now possible to set the same color (if desired) on the countdown, so that you get a holistic color on the header and the countdown (which lays over the header area on mobile).

Countdown to free shipping does not take into account the maximum weight for free shipping, if this is entered via settings for shipping methods.
