Stocktaking on mobile phone

Acendy's stocktaking feature is mobile-friendly, making it easy to count on the go.

Getting started on mobile

All you need to do is log in to the control panel via your mobile phone and go to Tools > Logistics > Stocktaking.

From there, start a new stocktaking, with or without selection, and count using search, plus/minus buttons, or a dedicated scanning mode.

On mobile, you only have access to counting. Opening counts, confirming counts, and reports are reserved for PC.

Scanning of goods

The Acendy stocktaking app has a dedicated scanning mode. When this is activated, the search field is removed, and you get a view that is only intended for use with a barcode scanner.

When you scan a product, the screen will flash green, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the product will be added to the overview.

If you scan a product that has an invalid barcode, or if the barcode is linked to several products, the screen will light up red, and you will receive an error message sound.

To continue scanning, you must manually click away the error message.

You can end scanning mode at any time by clicking on "End scanning mode".

You will then return to the usual way of counting. No scans are lost, everything is saved continuously.

This means that you can enter and exit scanning mode as often as you want.

Which devices support scanning mode?

Scanning mode can be used on PC, mobile phone and tablet.

Is anything special required?

Scanning mode is included in the stocktaking app and does not require anything other than a handheld barcode reader.
