Product And Stock Management
This article explains how to manage your product catalog and stock levels in the Acendy platform, ensuring synchronization between your online store and point of sale (POS) system.
Introduction
Acendy POS is essentially a mirror image of your online store. You manage products in the same control panel, and they appear in both your online store and POS system. However, you can choose to have products visible in the online store but hidden in the POS, or vice versa.
Stock levels are always synchronized between the POS and the online store.
Visible Product In The POS, Hidden In The Online Store
It's possible to have products visible in the POS but hidden in the online store.
To hide a product from the online store but keep it visible in the POS, select:
- Visibility: Hidden
- Visible in POS: Yes

- Visibility: Active
- Visible in POS: No
Visible Category In The POS, Hidden In The Online Store
If you want a category to be visible only in the POS, do the following:
- In the control panel, go to Product Catalog.
- Click the edit icon (pencil) for the desired category.
- Check the box for Hide category in the online store.
- Click Save Changes.
Hide Category In The POS
If you want to hide a category in the POS, you can do this directly in the Acendy POS app:
- Tap the category selection icon.
- Hide the desired categories by turning off the switch to the right of the category name.
- Press Done.
Different Price In The Online Store And POS For The Same Product
You can set different prices for the same product in the online store and POS. To set a separate price for the POS:
- Go to the desired product via the control panel.
- Set the desired price specifically for the POS in the Store Price field.
