Available Pages in a Theme
Pages in Themes
Each theme contains all available pages that can be edited in the design builder. This article explains the options available for managing pages within themes in Acendy.
Options on a Page
When you open a page in the page selector, you have several options:
- Duplicate: Creates a 1:1 copy of the page.
- Rename: Change the name of the page.
- Details: Displays the following details:
- Name
- Page type (landing page, product page, etc.)
- Created (date)
- Updated (date)
- Updated by (name of user)
- Preview: Opens a preview of the selected page in a new tab.
Edit Page
By default, the published page is always selected when you enter the design builder, and that is the one you will always edit by default.
If you want to edit another page, i.e. a draft, you must click "Edit" on the page you want to edit from the page selector.
After you have selected a new page, you will see that the previews reload. The page selector in the top menu will also be updated to show the name and status of the newly selected page.
Duplicate Page
If you want to create a new version of an existing page, or create a completely new page, this is done by duplicating a page in the theme you want. In this way, you can have several different pages with either large or small changes that you can switch between.
For example, in this way you can prepare a new landing page with unique banners that you set active on the desired date. This is also a practical way for third parties, such as support or design agencies, to prepare changes without having to publish them.
- Open the theme that has the page you want to duplicate.
- Open the page selector.
- Go to the correct page type (landing page, product page, etc.).
- Find the page you want to duplicate and click duplicate.
- Then give the new page a name and complete the duplication.
The duplicated page will now be created as a draft.
Activate New Page
If you want to activate a new page, which then replaces the current active page, do the following:
- Open the page selector and select the correct page.
- Click "Activate".
- Then confirm the selection to complete the activation.
When activating a draft, the previously activated page will be set to Draft so that it is still available for editing.
