Move all reservations

Moving reservations can be done individually on one order or in bulk from a purchase order.

Why move reservations?

Imagine a scenario where you have oversold 100 items that are on order from a supplier. The item has 100 reservations. However, the supplier informs you that the items cannot be delivered on that purchase order and must be moved to a new purchase order.

How to:

1. Open the purchase order you want to move reservations from.
2. Select the item line that has the reservations you want to move.
3. Under actions, click "Flytt reservasjon" (Move reservation).
4. You will now see a window showing all items/reservations you want to move, how many to move, and which available purchase orders you can move to.
5. On each item line, select which purchase order the reservations should be moved to. You can select multiple if the reservations need to be distributed across several purchase orders.
6. Then click "Flytt reservasjoner" (Move reservations).

Not all reservations where moved - why?

To move the reservations, the item(s) must already exist in another purchase order.

If the purchase order does not have a high enough ordered quantity or there are not enough available reservations, only as many reservations as are available will be moved.

In the moving window, it will show how many can be moved behind each item line.

For example, if you want to move 8 reservations and the purchase order has 8 available, it will be displayed as 8/8 available (8/8 available).

However, if you want to move 8 but the purchase order only has 3 available, it will be displayed as: 3/8 available (3/8 available).
