Order and Activate Kustom Checkout

This article explains how to apply for and activate Kustom Checkout (formerly Klarna Checkout) in your online store. You will find an overview of store requirements, the application process, required documentation, and payouts.

Before You Start the Application

To ensure your application can be processed, the following information must be correct and visible in your online store:

  • Organization number
  • Company name
  • Registered address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Terms and conditions
  • Privacy policy

This information must be easily accessible, for example in the footer.


  1. Go to Design → Main Menu/Content → Footer Pages
  2. Update the required information and save.

Application Process – Step by Step

1. Start Activation in the Control Panel

When activating your Mystore subscription (Start, Smart, or Pluss), Mystore initiates the application process.

  • Required information is sent to Kustom
  • Application status (initially 20%) is displayed on the front page of the control panel

2. Complete the Application Form

The application form will appear on the front page of your control panel.

  • Click Go to form
  • Fill in all required information
  • Submit the form

3. Submit the AML Form

A few days after activation, the AML form will become available in the control panel.

AML (Anti-Money Laundering) is a legally required security measure to prevent money laundering.

How to complete it:

  • Open the AML form from the front page of the control panel
  • Log in with BankID (person with signing authority)
  • Complete and submit the form

Important:

  • The form must be submitted within 14 days
  • Late submission will result in cancellation of the application
  • Kustom may request additional documentation

Processing Time

  • Normal processing time is 1–2 weeks, provided all documentation is correctly completed.

Check Application Status

  • You can check the application status on the front page of the control panel.
  • You will also receive updates directly from Kustom via email.

Transaction Fees

Transaction fees depend on your Mystore subscription:

  • Start
  • Smart
  • Pluss

Payouts

  • Kustom normally processes payouts weekly, usually once per week.
  • Payout reports are available in the Kustom portal.

Important to Know

  • Required company information must be visible in your online store before submitting the application
  • Company details must match the Norwegian Business Register (Brønnøysund Register Centre)
  • Missing AML documentation will stop the process

  • Verify that all required information is visible in your online store
  • Confirm that the AML form has been submitted within the deadline
  • Contact Mystore support via the control panel
  • Contact Kustom directly regarding processing or documentation questions
