This article explains how to create and use yarn packages in Acendy, allowing you to group products and variants together.

Hva Er Garnpakke?

With yarn packages, you can create one or more groups of products and associated variants.

A group is created with a name and can contain several products. There is a limitation on the number of characters in the database that prevents the number of products, but this is increased from 200 to 500 characters when yarn packages are installed. It is also possible to create several product groups within one and the same yarn package.

For example, if you want to create a yarn package based on sizes and there should also be a choice of colors for yarn, this can be set up with this function.

Here is an example of a yarn package that we have set up with 1 product and 6 color variants. We have created 2 groups within the same package.

The group with size 1-2 years has been set up with quantity 1 and size 3-4 years has been set up with quantity 3. This is then one and the same product with different numbers in each group.

You can also set up yarn packages with several products with associated variants. Let's say you want to sell two different products with associated variants. This will then look like this:

Follow these steps to create a yarn package:

1. Create a yarn package by selecting "+Produkt" and "+Produktpakke".
2. Give the yarn package a name and assign it to a category, then click "Opprett produkt".

Then go to the yarn package and do the following:

1. Create a product group, for example 1-2 years, and select "Opprett/Lagre gruppe". If you want several product groups, select "Ny produktgruppe" and give the new group a name.
2. Select the desired product from a category and click "Legg til produkt".
3. When the product has been added, it is possible to fill in the desired quantity and select the variant to be displayed in the package.

The variants shown in the example above are from the product "Air-Drops" which has 6 variants with pictures. When you have selected the number and variant, click "Lagre gruppe".
