Postnord Booking Widget

This article explains how to set up and use the PostNord booking widget to print shipping labels directly from the order page in Acendy.

Information

The PostNord Booking Widget is a simple solution that helps you print shipping labels directly on the order page. The booking widget is free to use and gives you the ability to print labels for:

MyPack Collect (Pick up at store)
MyPack Home (Delivered to the door)
Parcel (Delivered to company)

Warning

It will not be possible to create labels for MyPack Home Small (Delivered in the mailbox) with this solution. If you are dependent on shipping with Postnord Home Small, we recommend an integration with Profrakt.

Installation

To use this integration, you must have the Acendy shipping agreement.

Order Acendy shipping
Select PostNord booking widget as EDI solution when filling out the application
The booking widget is installed automatically when the agreement is ready for use

Use

When the booking widget is installed, you will find it on all your orders. You can choose to use a simple or an advanced version.

Simple Widget

Step 1: Open the order to be sent

On the order page, navigate a little down the page. Below the field for comments, you have a tool where you can generate shipping labels. Here you can enter information about the package's weight (kg) and dimensions. It is important to measure and report the correct dimensions of the shipments. This is because you pay for the space you book/reserve with Postnord.

Step 2: Select desired pickup

No pickup: If you have your own agreement with the local driving office for pickup, use this.
Order pickup: This is used if you want to send a signal to PostNord that they should come and pick up the package.
Delivered at pickup point: This is used if you deliver the package directly to the pickup point.

Step 3: Select shipping method

Postnord MyPack Collect (Pick up at store)
Postnord MyPack Home (Delivered to the door with customer signature)
Postnord MyPack Home Unattended (Delivered to the door without customer signature)

Click "Confirm" and you will get the label directly in the control panel and it can be printed on a regular printer or with a label printer if you have one.

Advanced Widget

To open the advanced widget, click on "Show extended shipping". The advanced widget gives you some more options.

Step 1: Fill in information about the sender.

Step 2: Add shipments. Click on "Add shipments" if you are unsure what to choose.

Step 3: Choose whether to send to private or business

Enter the recipient's information and press "Get shipping methods".

Step 3: Select the desired delivery method

Step 4: Choose whether you want to print the label yourself or if Postnord does this upon delivery.

Important!

If you choose that Postnord should print the label, you must choose delivery in the next step.

Step 5: Choose whether Postnord should pick up the package or whether you deliver it yourself

Step 6: Summary

Check that the information is correct.

Step 7: Receipt and printing of shipping label

Print your shipping label and stick it on the shipment.
