Payout Report - POS

This article explains the payout report generated when Adyen makes a payout to your account. It clarifies transaction fees, refunds, and why purchases from a single day might appear on different reports.

Explanation of Transaction Fees

With the POS from Acendy, transaction fees are paid as sales occur. These fees are deducted from the payout report:

  • 1 kr per transaction.
  • 1.25% - 2.75% dynamic deduction based on turnover.

In short, each month starts with a fee of 2.75%, after which a settlement is made at the end of each month. You will then be refunded what you have overpaid in fees on the entire turnover.

Refund of Transaction Fees

Example:

You have a turnover of 150,000 in a month. 2.75% has then been deducted throughout the month, but based on the turnover, you should have 2.49% in transaction fees for the entire turnover of 150,000 kr.

The difference of 0.26% will then be returned to your account during one of the first payout reports the following month. This will be visible as a refund on the payout report as an Invoice Deduction.

Why are Not all Purchases from One Day Collected on the Same Report?

The reason why all transactions are not shown on the same day is that a so-called cut-off is made at a certain time of day.

Let's say you had 40 transactions one day, but only 30 of these appear on the next payout. This is because the last 10 transactions were completed after a certain time, e.g. after 17:00.

The fee of 1 kr is deducted immediately and appears with the correct number of transactions (40 items), even if only 30 are redeemed and paid out.

FAQ

What Does Refund Mean on the Payout Report?

Via our acquirer Adyen, you have the option to refund directly to the customer's account by searching for the customer's order or scanning the customer's receipt.

When this is done, a refund is generated from Adyen which becomes visible as a deduction on a future payout report.
