Campaign Center v3 - statuses

Every campaign has a status badge that reflects where it is in its lifecycle. This article explains what each status means and what to do if something goes wrong.

Status reference

Status

Meaning

Draft

No schedule set. The campaign exists but won't activate automatically.

Scheduled

A start date is set in the future. The system will activate the campaign automatically.

Activating…

The system is applying discounts to the storefront. This usually resolves within seconds.

Active

Discounts are live on the storefront.

Pending deactivation

The end date has passed. The system will remove discounts on its next scheduled run.

Deactivating…

The system is removing discounts. This usually resolves within seconds.

Activation failed

All automatic retry attempts were exhausted. You'll receive an email notification.

Deactivation failed

All automatic retry attempts were exhausted during deactivation. You'll receive an email notification.

Archived

The campaign has ended and its discounts have been removed from the storefront.

If activation or deactivation fails

A banner on the campaign detail page will show the failure reason. Once all automatic retries are exhausted, a Retry button appears — clicking it queues the operation for the next scheduled run.

If retrying doesn't resolve the issue, contact support with the campaign name and the approximate time of failure.

Archiving vs. deleting

Archiving ends a campaign and moves it to the Completed tab. The campaign and its product list are preserved, so you can duplicate it to reuse the setup in the future.

Deleting permanently removes the campaign and all its products. This action is only available on archived campaigns and cannot be undone.
