Returns
The return solution allows customers to create returns directly from "My page". Thanks to the QR code, they do not need access to a printer.
Before you start
Set up your return addresses. You can do this by navigating to “Extensions” > “Your extensions” > “EDI (Logistra / Profrakt). Click on “Return addresses” and enter the address the packages should be returned to.
Set up any return fees in the "Partial delivery & partial credit" extension. The fee set up here must match what is entered in the return module later.
Get started
As soon as you have set up return addresses and any fees, you can set up the return solution. This is done by opening "Reports" > "Returns" in your control panel. The first time you open this page, you will be greeted by one of two messages. If you come straight in, the solution is ready for final setup.
"Returns have not been installed". This means that you do not have an EDI solution installed in your online store. Click on the link in the message to learn more about Profrakt, which can help you create shipments and returns in your online store.
EDI solution installed, but returns not activated. If you get this message, you can easily click the button to get started.
Set up the solution
As soon as you have entered the menu, there are some settings that must be set up before you can get started.
Click on the gear to get started.
Return setup Return fee: How much should the customer pay for the return? Return available: How long should returns be possible? Info page: Choose whether you want to link to an info page with information about returns in the online store. Standard return label: Choose which return method you want to offer your customers. Terms: Enter terms for returns. It can be packaging, etc. | Reasons for return Here you enter various reasons why the return is made. These reasons are selected by the customer when the return is created and used in the statistics, so use reasons that make sense for the products you sell. |
Once all of this is set up, customers can easily create a return and receive a qr code for the return of goods.
How to register a return
Customers can easily register a return via "My page" in the online store by finding the order to be returned. As soon as you have selected the products to be returned, selected the reason and completed the process, they will be sent a qr code via sms, e-mail and on "My account". This is then scanned at the post office to have a label printed.
