Acendy API
Acendy has an open api for both online store and data checkout. This article explains what an api can be used for and who can create an integration with your online store/data checkout.
What can an API be used for?
Api stands for "Application programming interface" and enables multiple systems to communicate together. For example, an api can be used for the online store to be connected to an erp system, accounting system, invoicing system, pos solution, warehouse hotel, etc. The possibilities are many.
Who can create an integration with my online store/data checkout
If you are a system developer and have an understanding of what an api is, you can build integrations between systems. If you do not have an understanding of what an api is, you can hire a 3rd party to build an integration between the systems you want. Examples of companies that specialize in this are e-monkey.no and iizy.no.
Technical documentation
Our current API is constantly being developed and is used by many of our partners. Technical documentation for the api can be found here.
If you have any questions about using the api, please contact kundeservice@acendy.no and we will put you in touch with a developer.
API key
This article explains how to create an Api key in Acendy.
Creating an API key
- Go to Tools - API key.
- Log in with username and store name.
The store name is the same name you gave the store at the beginning. Contact us on chat if you need help finding your store name. - Press "Create new token".
- Select permissions for the key (this is done in consultation with the developer).
Additional information
This key is only intended to get started with our Api.
Third parties, for example a company like Iizy.no, you can sign a customer support agreement with them and they will be responsible for the operation and setup of Api integrations.
