Server-side tracking with Stape and Google Tag Manager 631

Configure extensions by going to Apps > Your extensions

Acendy supports server-side tracking via Stape.io, which provides better data quality and less risk of tracking being blocked by browsers.

Get started

  1. Create an account on stape.io
  2. Follow the guide in Stape to complete the setup, including domain customization. 

Once the setup is complete, copy values from Stape and enter them into the Mystore control panel as follows:

Extensions -> Your Extensions -> search for "Serverside - Cookie Keeper" 

Activate: True

User identifier type: stapeUserId

Values copied from Stape are entered:
Container ID - e.g. rnntxxxx
Additional ID - e.g. crnntsvoq (from variable i="...")
C-variable - e.g. 2zin=aWQ9... (from variable c="...")
Server-side URL - e.g. Server-side Load URL - e.g.
User identifier type - e.g. stapeUserId (must match the setup in Stape)* You can find these values in Stape after the container and domains are set up, under Settings and in the generated GTM code.
Remember

- You must have an active subscription with Stape.

- If you use Cookie Keeper, the user ID type must match between Stape and Mystore.
