Customer group

Click here to manage price adjustments, shipping options, etc. for members of the customer club without the changes affecting customers who are not members.

With customer club installed, you have two customer groups available.

End customers = Customers who are not members of the customer club.

Customer club = Customers who have joined the customer club.

Adjust price on the products

Here you can do a bulk edit of customer group price/membership price. You can filter on category and/or manufacturer. Membership price can be adjusted according to the following rules

End customer price excl. VAT

Procurement price

Current membership price/customer group price

Possibly other customer group prices (if several customer groups are created)

Note that membership prices do not have the same functionality as a regular offer. To remove (zero out) customer group price via the customer group, select 0% and adjust the price according to End customer price excl. VAT.

Shipping setup for the customer club

Inside the customer group, you can choose which shipping methods to display, as well as set your own shipping prices for members of the customer club.

Own shipping method for the customer club

Create a regular shipping method for members via “Configuration” > “Shipping methods”. When the shipping method is ready to use, you must choose which customer groups the shipping method should not be displayed for.

Navigates back to the overview of your customer groups “Orders/Customers > Customer groups”.

Select the customer group “End customer” and select which shipping methods should not be displayed.

Free shipping on orders

If you want to offer free shipping only to logged-in customer club members, you can specify it in this setting. You can specify the order amount that will activate free shipping, set a maximum weight limit and choose which shipping methods free shipping for members should apply to.

Category view

Here you can activate a separate category exclusively for customer club members. You can create your own customer group category and check "Own customer group category". This can be useful if you want to give members first rights to new products or offer pre-ordering of products only for members. This category will only be visible to logged-in members.

Note: If you select "Show only customer group categories", logged-in members will only see this category. This is especially useful for B2B customer groups, for example dealers.
