Examples of personalized emails

To begin with, we recommend setting up the following emails to be combined with flow.

Abandoned shopping cart
This is an email that is sent out automatically if a customer has added items to the shopping cart without completing the purchase. This is an email flow that generates quite a lot of income.

NB! Remember to select Shopping Cart as a template when creating the email

Customer signed up for newsletter via popup

When a customer has signed up for a newsletter via a popup, it is often because they have been offered a discount code upon registration. We recommend sending this discount code by email, as this ensures that the customer actually leaves their real email address.

Happy birthday
This email is sent to customers on the date that is registered as the date of birth in your Acendy control panel. The most common thing to do is to create a discount code for the customer that lasts for so long.New member of the customer club
If a customer joins the customer club, an email can automatically be sent to the customer which, for example, contains a discount code and membership benefits.

How to set up different flows

Below we show some examples of flows that can be used to send emails to customers. The two that provide the most value are abandoned shopping carts and discount codes for customers who sign up for newsletters.

Abandoned shopping cart

By sending emails to customers who have added products to the shopping cart, you can easily increase the conversion rate of your store. In the email, you choose whether you offer a discount or just a reminder about the shopping cart.

Send birthday greetings

Sending a birthday greeting is a great way to have a good relationship with your customers. Follow the steps below to create a flow that sends emails on the customer's birthday.

Create the email that is sent

To make it easier to create the flow, we recommend creating the email that is sent first.

You do this in the menu Flow > Email > Overview. Under general emails you will find a template for birthday greetings. You can use this as inspiration, and if you want to offer a discount code, the widget for this is already included.
