Facebook Conversion API Gateway

Facebook Conversion Api Gateway (Capig)

This article explains how to set up Facebook Conversion Api Gateway (Capig) using stape.io hosting, Facebook's solution for setting up Conversion Api, which is also easy to set up.

Follow the instructions to set up Fb Capig

When you create the Facebook Capig container at Stape.io, they create an Amazon Aws cloud solution based on Facebook's requirements, and they will handle all updates for you.

  • Stape's Fb Capig hosting costs $10 per month.

Create an account at https://stape.io/sign-up

Enter your email address and select "Global".

Important

Add a payment method to Stape.io within 24 hours in the "Billing" menu. Unfortunately, they will deactivate your setup if a payment card is not added within 24 hours.

Once logged in to Stape, go to the "Fb Capi Getaway" menu item and select "Create Capig".

Enter a name and the email address you want to use to manage Conversions Api and select the Europe server location.

Then select the "Pay as you go" payment plan and "Start 7-day trial".

Click "Finish Capig setup".

Use the email address you created for your Stape account and enter a password.

Stape does not store passwords for Conversions Api Gateway, so it is important that you store the password in a safe place. Click "Create account".

You will then have access to the Conversions Api Gateway environment. To connect to your Meta pixel, click "Add data source".

(If you get an error message "Oops something went wrong", you can refresh the browser, and you will get the correct setup).

Go through the wizard and select your Meta pixel.

We recommend enabling automatic advanced matching, as it will help increase the quality of your campaigns.

When you have completed the wizard, you will see Meta Pixel in the Conversions Api Gateway interface.

If you have challenges with the setup, you can contact Stape.io support at support@stape.io.

For more information about Facebook Conversion Api, you can find it in this article from Stape.
