It may take some time before Facebook and Instagram Shopping is approved by Meta. It can take around 1-3 days before you are approved. You will receive a notification in the Instagram app or by email when you are approved.
Feel free to check after a couple of days if you have been approved for "Shopping". You can do this by following the "Get started" notification at the top of your profile or by going to the Instagram app and "Settings" -> "Business" -> "Shopping" and select your product catalog and press "Complete".
Now you can start using product tagging and Instagram Shopping.
If you find that some of your products cannot be used for product tagging or Instagram Shopping, Facebook may have rejected them. You can read this article to find out how to check this.
