Facebook: Domain verification

This article guides you through the process of verifying your domain in Facebook Business Manager, ensuring ownership and control over your domain for advertising and other purposes.

Steps for domain verification

1. Go to "Business settings" in Facebook Business Manager
2. Navigate to "Brand safety".
3. Click on "Domains" > "Add".
4. Click "Create a new domain".
5. Enter your domain name (storename.no) and click "Add".
6. On the page below, copy your Meta-tag code (NB! Only the code between " and " should be copied, not the entire Meta tag as shown in the picture below)
7. Then go to your Acendy control panel and to the menu item "Configuration" -> "Social media"
8. Make sure the "Facebook Meta Tag" field is installed.
9. Paste in your Meta Tag verification code (NB! Not the entire text, only the code itself as mentioned in point 6)
10. Click "Save changes" and wait for about 5 minutes for the online store to update.
11. Go back to Business Manager, and click "Verify domain".
