Quick edit
Quick Edit
Quick edit allows you to modify certain fields of your product selection directly in the interface. When changes are saved, a job starts that updates the products and logs everything. It couldn't be simpler!
Get started
To get started with quick edit, easily find the products you want by using filters, search, and columns.
Once you have found the products, open quick edit by clicking on the "Actions" menu and selecting "Activate Quick Edit".
Editing products
After quick edit is activated, certain fields will be editable.
This is clearly visible as editable products have an editable field versus "regular" products that have text that is only readable.
After a field is edited, it will be indicated with a turquoise frame around the field.
The image below shows that the field for "Item No." has not been changed, while the field for "Purchase Price" has been changed and has a turquoise frame.
Finalize editing
To complete the editing of products, click "Save Changes". This will start a job that performs all changes and updates the products.
An indicator will show the progress of updating products.
The log
After the introduction of the quick edit, the log for "Bulk Edit" is divided into two parts: "Actions" and "Quick Edit".
To see the log, go to "Overview" in the side menu, then you can choose between the two log types.
Actions
Actions shows what was previously called "Actions" - these are larger jobs that are performed on several products at the same time.
Quick Edit
Each quick edit will be displayed as an entry, grouped by date.
For example: if Kari performs an update on 3 products at 12:30 PM and Lars performs an update of 7 products at 2:00 PM, it will be displayed as two entries on the same date.
Click on "View Changes" to see an overview of all products that have been changed, as well as what changes have been made with the status before and after the change:
