Age Verification via Bank-ID

Age Verification via Bank-ID

This article explains how to add age verification to products in Acendy using Bank-ID.

Add age verification

Under Product catalog > Products, you can go to each individual product that should have an age limit check, and add the tag "Age_check" and set the value to "1" and update the product.

The product will now be marked, and if the product is added to the cart, both in Klarna Checkout and Quick Checkout, the customer will be taken to a new page for age verification using BankID.

Order status

  • Approved orders =  green
  • Disapproved orders =  red

In your order overview, orders marked in green are approved via age verification. Orders marked in red are orders where the customer has not completed age verification via Bank ID.

Note!

Orders marked in red mean that the customer has not passed, or completed the age verification. It may therefore be that the customer is over 18 years of age, but the order requires manual follow-up to confirm that the customer is over 18 years of age before it can be sent.

Invoice + age verification

Note

Orders placed with invoice will not have any color code

Since you must be over 18 years of age to pay with invoice or partial payment, no color will appear on orders where the customer has entered a date of birth and social security number that shows that the customer is over 18 years of age. In short, Klarna carries out an age check that does not require Bank ID.
